Joo Chiat Ah Huat Wanton Mee
Joo Chiat Ah Huat Wanton Noodle stall at Dunman Food Centre is a family favorite. I love digging into a plate of savory and springy noodle strands with a spicy punch from the savoury chili sauce. I especially love the crunch of crisp lard croutons and the enhanced flavour that the rendered pork fat gave to the dish. The Singapore-style wantons here are made with seasoned minced pork and do not have prawns in them. We like the Fried Wantons here for the crisp skin and I love topping my wantons with the slightly piquant chili sauce. The Wanton Noodles and Chili Sauce here are a Must-Try!

Run by the folks who previously operated Ang Moh Wanton Noodles, we've followed them faithfully from location to location and missed them terribly when they took a break after selling away their original business.
My favourite Wanton Mee stall reopened at Dunman Food Centre! Yay! http://www.superfinefeline.com/2011/08/hong-mao-mian-jia-aka-ang-moh-wanton-noodles-gastronomic-ruminations.html Posted by Superfinefeline on Wednesday, 26 June 2013
Occupying 2 stalls at Dunman Food Centre, they still use a queue system but with a slight difference: you only get to place your order when your number is shown on the display. The wait ranges from 15 - 35 minutes so come early to avoid dying from hunger while waiting.
