Hotpot Kingdom at Marina Bay Sands
Hotpot Kingdom is one of my favourite steamboat places in Singapore. My other hotpot haunts are Imperial Treasure Steamboat Restaurant and Hai Di Lao.
Hot Pot Premium Set Menu B for 2 @ $49.80 per pax some items are not shown in the photo above
If you've been following me on Instagram or Facebook you'd probably notice that I've been visiting Hotpot Kingdom at Marina Bay Sands rather often. At one point, I visited them 4 times in 3 weeks! I love steamboat as it's a great way to catch up with friends over fresh ingredients and a bubbling pot of broth that gets tastier as the meal progresses.
Macanese Pork Bone Broth & Spicy Mala Broth @ $15 each a la carte (included in the set)
My favourite combination of soup bases - the Macanese Pork Bone Broth and Spicy Mala Broth. Similar to Japanese Tonkotsu Broth, the collagen-rich Macanese Pork Bone Broth is milky from hours of simmering pork bones. Savour a bowl on its own before cooking ingredients in the broth. The Spicy Mala Broth can be customized according to your tolerance for heat. I usually ask for the spicier version. Feel free to request for more chili paste if the heat isn't up to mark.
Condiment Tray
The staff are more than happy to help if you're not sure how you'd like to customize your dipping sauce. I like my dips spicy so I tend to add quite a bit of chili in my bowl.
Meatball Platter & My Dipping Sauces Handmade Pork Ball, Prawn Ball, Cuttlefish Ball & Beef Ball
I love the meatballs at Hotpot Kingdom as they're hand made to order. If you're ordering a la carte, you can customize the selection of flavours for the meatball platter. My friend wanted to try the Beef Ball so we swapped out the Dace Fish Ball in the standard set. Personally, I like the Dace Fish Ball as it's sweet from the fresh dace fish puree and has a hint of tangerine peel.
Wagyu Beef & Kurobuta Pork (Part of the Premium Set)
The premium set dinner here is a good deal. It comprises Wagyu Beef, Kurobuta Pork, a platter of meatballs, assorted seafood, vegetables, noodles, choice of soup bases and dessert.
The seafood platter that's included in the premium set comprises a whole local Lobster, Prawns, Squid, Garoupa Slices and Fresh Scallops.
The set dinner portion is often more than enough for two unless you have a really hearty appetite. When I visit with 3 other friends, we'd usually order a set for 2 and add a la carte items. Our favourite a la carte items are fried fish skin, fried beancurd skin, dumplings and more meat.

This is a slice of beautifully marbled Wagyu Striploin that's available on the a la carte menu. After a quick dip in the boiling broth, each tender slice melts in the mouth. A delectable treat once in a while.
Mango & Pomelo Dessert
Dessert's included in the set meal. The selection may change from time to time but they usually offer Mango & Pomelo or Gui Ling Gao Herbal Jelly. My usual choice is the Mango & Pomelo dessert as I love mangoes and the version served here isn't too sweet. The Gui Ling Gao Herbal Jelly is fairly popular amongst friends of mine who enjoy the bitter dessert. I find it too bitter even with syrup added. Dessert aside, the Hotpot Premium Set at Hotpot Kingdom is a Must-Try!
